February 2022 Music Update: New Haven Recital, Band Press & New Music

Hi everyone,

It's mind-blowing that January has already come and gone and the air is starting to feel like spring is on the way. I don't know about for you, but with the longer days and warmer weather, my heart just starts to feel more and more full. Last month was full of ups and downs as we were hit with yet another wave of COVID and bad weather. Gigs were reschedule, postponed, and some canceled altogether, but through it all we somehow still found a way to make music and share spaces with people. Check out some of the highlights below and what's to come this month:

New things this month:

  • I've got my first recital since college at the end of this month on 2/27 at Bethesda Lutheran Church in New Haven, CT with the incomparable Eric Trudel on piano! The flyer above has all the details, and I will be sending out an email blast the next couple weeks for this great one-of-a-kind program.

  • We got some press! Click here to see the article that the New Haven Independent did on myself and my band On the Trail when we performed at Cafe Nine a few weeks ago. There's even a recording of one of our new originals written by yours truly available below ⬇️.

  • My dates are really starting to pile up for the months ahead, so be sure to sign up for Show Date Notifications to stay up-to-date with all my upcoming gigs. You can also check the Shows section of my website.

  • I'm offering a FREE 15-minute trial lesson in the Services section of my website, so please share with anyone you may know looking for lessons or sign up for one yourself.

With a new phase of COVID life finally on the horizon and with everything I've got going on, the future feels full of hope more than ever. There are still so many things I have planned that have yet to even be started, and none of it would be possible without the growing support that you are all providing me. Truly, I hope each and every one of you is happier and healthier with each passing day. Hope to see you out in the real world sometime soon.

Best wishes,

Charlie
