January 2024 Update: From My First Solo Single to Recording a Full Album

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year! I hope your holiday season was as recharging as mine was, and hopefully it was filled with some time to reflect or plan for the year to come. The last quarter of the year was a whirlwind for me, with plenty of firsts, which included making new friends, connections, and growing my team as we keep pushing to make 2024 one of the most exciting years of my career thus far.

First and foremost, my single What Do I Need With Love dropped worldwide at the end of September! Since then, my team and I have been in nonstop work mode. I headed back to Switzerland for my first ever press tour when the track dropped, lined up plans for the recording of my first full length solo album, did handfuls of interviews in German (which I was terrified to do), and even got my single on the radio in the first 24 hours of its release!

In between shows in October and early November, my sole focus was on gearing up and executing a trip back to Switzerland to record my first solo full length album. I worked with the same producer of my single--a great musician and a dear friend, Phil van Merk--and the process was amazing. Highlights from that trip are in the video below, which includes plenty of shots from the studio and also the surprise performance I did during my dear friend and mentor Baschi's show in Bern at the Bierhübeli to a sold out audience! As if that weren't enough, my music video for What Do I Need With Love is also officially out!

Here are some things to look out for this month:

• My socials have been fully revamped and are posting new content on the regular! Head to these links Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok to keep up with everything that I'm up to and working on.

• There will not be any shows for me in the month of January as I focus on finishing the details for the new album (plus, On the Trail is hitting the studio to cut our next record), but shows to come will be added to the website shortly! Check the Shows section of my website for all dates, and if you aren't subscribed to those notifications, click the link and get direct emails for every show I add.

• As always, I am teaching lessons during the week and looking for people who are interested. I'm still offering a FREE trial lesson in the Services section of my website, so please share with anyone you know who may be looking for lessons, or sign up for one yourself!

To say I'm impatient to get this new music out is an understatement, but, like with all good things, time is a necessity. I can't thank all of you enough for the love and support of my new single, for all the shows you've come out to, or even just the words of encouragement you've given me over the years. This new chapter in my career is progressing in ways I never could have imagined, and I am beyond thrilled to get this music into the world and to start performing it for people. I hope the beginning of your year is filled with the energy you need to make it something special. Looking forward to seeing you somewhere out in the world!
