June 2022 Music Update: Summer Bluegrass Shows & Solo Performances

Hi everyone,

It's hard to believe that it's already June and I'm only a couple weeks away from another birthday. It doesn't feel like half of this year has passed, but, looking back on all that has happened, there certainly haven't been a lot of dull moments. May was a busy month! I was able to get back to shows with my band, On the Trail, and I sang with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra as a guest soloist. June seems to have a different vibe to it, with more shows where I've got a guitar in my hands, but I'm certainly not complaining. Here are some of the updates for the month to come:

New things this month:

• My band On the Trail has shows all summer long, including several in the coming weekends. Before I joined this band, I really didn't have a relationship with bluegrass music, but I'm so glad I have one now. If you're at all like my pre-bluegrass days, I'd recommend coming to check us out! Bluegrass crowds are about as inviting as it gets, and since all the instruments are acoustic, you never leave a show with that ear-ringing feeling. I know we in the band really appreciate that last fact.

• Be sure to sign up for Show Date Notifications to stay up-to-date with all my upcoming gigs. I've got some solo shows I'll be playing in the weeks to come currently listed. You can also check the Shows section of my website for more.

As summer settles in and the pace of things changes, I'm looking most forward to getting to some projects that I just haven't been able to tackle. I can't wait to share all new content, both covers and originals, with you in the months to come. Hope to catch you at a show or two this month, too!
